Think about it the embodiment of her anger and hatred towards herself grows alongside Kay to see that she is literally trying to destroy herself so she can help her friends and family, and wants to try and stop her from breaking to the point she crosses the DespairEventHorizon. Whilst the gameplay would have benefited from a bit more depth, what’s present is well balanced, well varied, and well paced. ![]() It gets better when you realize that she is ]. That said, they still love their children dearly and become distressed when Kay faints, returning to human form just for the sake of helping her get back on the boat. Sadly, it doesn't last and its implied that they eventually separated at some point in time. Though their relationship is strained, they really do love each other and their kids and try their best to put aside their arguments when Sunny and Kay are around. This, plus him ''finally'' screaming at the shadows that represent his trauma to stop, is what returns him to normal and they share a heartfelt hug. * Though she initially remained distant from his life and was more focused on her boyfriend, Kay proves she really does love her brother by telling him that she is always going to be there for him and tells him, with full certainty, that the bullies are not his friends. Most of the time, however, the messages are always encouraging, especially since they're written specifically with Kay in mind. * The messages in the bottles can be both heartwarming and tear jerking, depending on what point in the game you are at. In fact, one of the original reasons why Kay explores the city is to try and find her, and she is visibly relieved to see that she is okay, considering the last time they saw each other she attempted to force the woman in the shell away from her. * Despite having known her for a minute at best, Kay forms a fast and lasting friendship with the Girl.
